Overwater Bungalows at Sunset

We’re thrilled to be the first to bring you exclusive photos of the newly renovated Hotel Kia Ora on Rangiroa! We can only echo the rave reviews it’s been receiving lately; the property is absolutely beautiful. But don’t take our word for it… see for yourself!

Tell Me More

Located on the northwest part of Rangiroa and nestled in a coconut plantation, the Hotel Kia Ora Resort & Spa now boasts an elegant and refined architecture. It offers a seclusion unlike anywhere else, making it both incredibly relaxing and fabulously romantic. It’s the perfect escape for honeymooners!

The hotel features 60 well-appointed villas and bungalows – some scattered throughout the coconut grove, some situated on the beach, and some suspended over the turquoise lagoon. Their garden villas even feature an enclosed yard and a private plunge pool, making it a great place for families, too.

Their amenities include a relaxation spa, a fitness center, an infinity pool, and a gift shop where you can buy everything from sunscreen to Tahitian black pearls. Complimentary services include babysitting (upon request at the time of booking), currency exchange, and laundry service. There’s also free wireless internet available throughout the resort; but with such scenic surroundings, who needs it? Sporting equipment such as snorkeling gear, kayaks and canoes are also complimentary. As you may already know, Rangiroa is world-renowned for its diving and snorkeling, so you’ll definitely want to get in the water and swim with the fish.

There are two restaurants at the hotel: The main restaurant, where they just hired a new chef to recreate the menu; and their fine dining restaurant, which is scheduled to re-open soon. The cuisine at the main restaurant is both amazingly diverse and unbelievably delicious. We can’t even imagine how the fine dining restaurant will top it! The hotel bar also makes tropical drinks sure to satisfy your craving for island flavor. Their signature cocktail? The Miki Miki, which comes highly recommended by Wine Enthusiast Magazine.

We’ve already sent a number of our clients to the resort since its re-opening and we’ve been hearing amazing things about their experience. Read what some of them had to say about their stay at the Hotel Kia Ora Resort & Spa.

The Kia Ora Sauvage

If you’re looking for your own Robinson Crusoe experience, the Hotel Kia Ora has a sister property hidden away on a private island, just an hour away by boat. The Kia Ora Sauvage, which was also recently renovated, features five traditional-style beach bungalows for only ten guests at a time. What makes the experience so unforgettable is that there’s no electricity in the rooms. You’ll enjoy your nights in total seclusion with nothing but the stars and a lantern to light your way. It’s a truly remarkable, authentic experience.

Kia Ora Sauvage at Night

Congrats, Kia Ora!

Please join us in raising a glass to the hotel that is raising the standards on Rangiroa. The Hotel Kia Ora Resort & Spa now provides a luxury experience on par with many of the resorts on Bora Bora. To help them celebrate, we’re offering an exclusive vacation package so you can experience the resort yourself. The best part? You’ll stay 5 nights and only pay for 3!
