A Birthday Vacation to Moorea & Bora Bora

One of our clients, Wes Tanaka, recently returned from Moorea and Bora Bora and shared with us a few photos and details of what he calls a “fabulous trip.” His reason for traveling? He took his wife to the islands to celebrate her birthday. What a lucky lady! They stayed at the Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort & Spa and the St. Regis Bora Bora Resort and it sounds like they had an amazing time. Below are some photos and here’s what Wes had to say about their trip:

“It was a fabulous trip and a wonderful celebration of my wife’s birthday… It couldn’t have been any better. Your arrangements (transfers and reservations) couldn’t have been any more seamless. We were met and greeted at every stop with hospitality and courtesy. The two properties were superb… (probably the best on each island), as were the facilities, service, and food.”

Moorea

First, we sent them to Moorea. They were very pleased with the island, the hospitality, and the hotel facilities. Here’s what they had to say about the experience: “It was an excellent idea to break things up and go to Moorea. Beautiful locale and we rented a car and went around the island. Staff at the hotel were more than helpful… we also enjoyed the ferry ride to Moorea which was a brief but fun experience in and of itself.”

They also got a nice surprise from their family while there: “We were treated by our kids to a dinner on the beach, which… was quite a memory maker. The Tahitian show (and buffet) was quite a spectacle and we were more than entertained and impressed.”

Bora Bora

Next, we sent them to Bora Bora. Here’s what they had to say about the St. Regis Bora Bora: “Quite an experience and high level of service. Arguably, one of the best ‘hotel/room’ experiences I’ve had the pleasure to stay at. The resort itself was so relaxing and beautiful, we never left the grounds, nor felt compelled to do so. Staying in our room and swimming right off our own platform was quite compelling. Room service was a treat, as was a wonderful dinner at Lagoon. We were treated royally, but the nice thing was the fact that service was always available but not pushy… I should note that they graciously extended ‘late-check out’ as our flight did not leave until 6:00 or so that evening. It made a big ‘little’ difference to us and felt like we were granted an extra day.”

Final Thought

“All in all, Candice, it was a wonderful trip and certainly not our last to either location… thank you for your wonderful arrangements.”

Thanks Wes! We’re so glad to hear that you and your wife had an excellent time. Remember, we’re always here to help plan memorable vacations to Tahiti for anyone and any occasion!

    1. Holy crap, I’m jealous! It is breathtaking! So glad you guys had so much fun! I will now have to look into the hotel so that one day in the future I will be able to visit there!

  1. So.Freaking.GORGEOUS! I’m going to need you to go ahead and schedule some posts for next winter featuring Tahiti just so I can sigh and stare at them once it’s freezing here again. :)
