The luxurious and highly anticipated Brando Resort will open July 1, 2014 on the famed actor’s private island, Tetiaroa. Once considered a playground for royalty, this tiny atoll served as a summer residence for the former chiefs and kings of Tahiti. It was passed through the hands of many private owners until the famed Hollywood actor negotiated ownership in 1966.
