Tahiti in Time Lapse

Sylvain Candelibes lives in Papeete, Tahiti and therefore has the luxury to be able to photograph and film his scenic surroundings for hours on end — and that’s exactly what he’s done here. These time lapse videos will give you a sense of what a day in Tahiti would be like as the sun rises and sets and the clouds pass by overhead.

This first one features footage of Belvedere Point, the Fataua Waterfall, Point Venus, the Kanti Temple in Mamao and the Paofai Gardens.

This second video also features footage of Tahiti and Moorea, set to the song “Here Comes the Sun” by Yuna.

Don’t you wish you had this much time to spend in Tahiti?
