The Bora Bora Liquid Festival is a celebration of water sports and Tahitian culture hosted on the beautiful island of Bora Bora. This year marks the 12th consecutive year for the festival, which is scheduled to take place from November 28th to December 9th, 2012. Though the competition is fierce, this isn’t your typical sporting event. While the world’s best aquatic athletes come to test their physical and mental endurance in swimming, stand up paddling and outrigger canoe races; friends and family also gather on the beach to cheer them on and enjoy festive barbecues, live entertainment and fun social gatherings.
