Nina Dobrev, star of the hit show The Vampire Diaries, went to Bora Bora in December to complete her PADI Certification (Professional Association of Diving Instructors). She recently tweeted a photo of her certificate (see below) and announced, “Beyond excited to share that I’m officially an Open Water PADI CERTIFIED DIVER!” Congrats Nina!
Below is an article from US Weekly Magazine with photos of Nina diving in Bora Bora. As it points out, diving is growing in popularity among celebrities – not only as a fun pastime while on vacation, but also as a great workout. It is, after all, a water sport! In fact, Men’s Fitness recently published this article about the health benefits of scuba diving for men. If you plan to take up diving, what better place to go than Tahiti? With some of the best dive spots in the world, you’ll get your fill of fun and fitness and see amazing marine life along the way.
Excellent website!

She was on Chelsea Lately and talked about how she swam with sharks!
Love her! I also saw her interview with Chelsea… but I wanted to see more of her Bora Bora photos!
Thanks! I’ve shared your site on my social networks!
I love watching Nina on the The Vampire Diaries! Did you know she was born in Bulgaria and moved to Canada and speaks fluent French, English, and Bulgarian?? One impressive lady!
Is she Bulgarian? I thought Dobrev was a Bulgarian surname.
Anyway, nice blog about Tahiti, one of my dream destinations! :)
It has clear massaging gel and it works very well with
open toe shoes. After an Achilles tendon rupture, a player will be able
to walk flat-footed, but will not be able to stand up on his
or her toes on the affected side. If you don’t know the cause of a pain, tap on the image
of that pain and you’ll probably get a measure of relief.
