The Bachelorette couples really love our islands! As you may recall, Roberto Martinez proposed to Ali Fedotowsky in Bora Bora during season six. They even returned a year later to celebrate their anniversary. Now, Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum are the first couple from the show to honeymoon in Tahiti. The pair met on season seven of The Bachelorette, televised their wedding last December, then jetted off to paradise on February 17th to celebrate their fairytale romance!
“My vision of the ultimate honeymoon was always a little hut on the water,” says Rosenbaum. The couple stayed at Le Méridien Bora Bora and Hotel Kia Ora Resort & Spa in Rangiroa. They enjoyed a traditional Polynesian feast, went on a 4×4 Jeep Safari tour of Bora Bora, and swam with the sharks and stingrays. The highlight for Ashley? “My favorite moments were just us sitting on our balcony,” she says, “Everywhere you looked was picturesque.
